Notes ON “Edge Walking”

Stuck
A love song for George Bush. How he got to a second term still baffles me. I ‘m not fond of bullies with power.

Dick Cheney Blues

This one was written for the VP before he started shooting his friends. It’s amazing how he got to where he was and yet is seen very little.

Cow Farts

Written after reading an article in the paper about how scientists have discovered that the methane released from cows is destroying the ozone layer. I wrote this to help warn about the danger to the environment.

The Dentist Song

The one place no one should ever have to go. Life is hard enough, but driving yourself to a torture chamber. That’s brutal!

Glatinslide

an instrumental in open G tuning with Latin Drums while using the slide- hence the name.

The Drums of War

An anti –war song. Peace seems so difficult to obtain on this planet, but there are still lots of people who work hard to try and find it.

Don’t Drink the Water

Written in response to the horror stories I’ve about going to Mexico and the unfortunate mishap that occurs with H20.

Angel in this World

Another Love song.

Speak English

Written as a spoof or satire about having to accept other people’s language here cause they don’t speak English, but a lot of people thought I was serious about it.  This song will never be sung live cause too many people are sensitive and I don’t want to get shot.

Sunsets and Waterfalls

In memory of my good friend Mark Kaufman. One of the gentlest souls on earth. He was a wonderful Nature photographer and a great fan of my music.  I wrote this to perform at his memorial.  He did the artwork cover for my first CD.  You can check out his work at www.naturephoto.com.
