Cottage Cheese Blues
It’s always white and lumpy looks like bad cream of wheat
I don’t know why some people think it’s good to eat
Some eat it directly off the spoon some disguise it with a peach
I know one thing that’s for sure keep it out of my reach
That’s one food that you’ll never see me use
So I’ll never suffer any cottage cheese blues
You can find it in the grocery store it sits there on a shelf
I think it’s right next to the milk it should be off by itself
It looks spoiled to begin with but it’s got an expiration date
So I know one thing that’s for sure keep it off of my plate

So if you find someone offers it to you
you better turn around and run
Cause if it gets too close to your lips
you won’t be having much fun
This is just a friendly warning
For everybody young and old
Cause if you try it you might be
praying to a porcelain bowl
